Sunday Wide Open Boys would show there stuff on RLM TV for the Final race of the Season

But when it came to crunch time it would be #33 Kevin Hamlin and #89 Jeff Ward Battling it out, Hamlin
Would be able to hold off Ward at the green white checker finish, #42 Steve Foley would win the championship over #96 John Westling -25 Back and #38 Hal Beardsworth -33 Back Congrads
To a great Season Sunday Wide Open Drivers!

Practice saw some new faces in the garage and many drivers swapping cars throughout the session. Qualifying was topped by JWard with a 1:31:280 followed by EButler, 1:31:674 and SVaughan with a 1:32:491. Yours truly slotted into 4th with a 1:32:675.

On the warmpup lap, Steve was in front of me when he vanished into thin air.

At the lights, the field made it through the first turn without incident as much as I could tell in my mirrors and I believe polesitter Ed Butler got the holeshot followed by JWard and EK. The first three pulled away from the pack and settled into a fairly even pace.

I pretty much lost track of who where was where by the first pit stop. Thinking too hard, I thought perhaps a two stop strategy might be necessary but at 40 seconds per stop, it was a costly decision. I was running somewhat near the top of the order as I watched everybody fly by while I was getting gas that I didn't need. Note to self: just do what everybody else is doing for pit strategy.

At the flag, it was Butler, Ward and Westling. Fast lap of the race goes to Ed Butler with a 1:31:947.

Full Finishing Order:

Milwaukee, Wisconsin, The Arca-Elite Tuesday Night Fixed series was in action tonight, 28 drivers would take to the track. Jason Burstien would take the top spot in qaulifications with a lap of 29.8128 seconds.



Sean Bickel making it three wide comming out of turn two trying to make a late race pass on Jake Simmons and Lance Munksgard. Sean would take home a disapointing 20th place finish while Lance and Jake would finish 4th and 8th respectfully  .



The racing in the final laps at Milwaukee  was hard and tight, Then a major moment in the race as contact between Brandon Sawyer and Ben Sides would create problems for a handful of drivers like the two points leaders of Sheedy and Westling.



Congradulations to Chris Westerfield for bringing home his first win at Elite Sim Racing. Chris ran the final 50 laps on his two tire pit stop and with the luck of a few well timed cautions he managed to hold off the field. The points battle remains tight but with the final race of the series headed to Nashville next week Sheedy still holds a 26 point lead over the Badboy of John westling.
